Mike Lydon

Mike Lydon is a Principal with Street Plans, an award-winning urban planning, design, and research/advocacy firm. He is an internationally recognized planner, writer, speaker, and advocate for livable cities. His work emphasizes smart growth, place making, complete streets, and active transportation.

Rep. Russell Holmes

Since 2010, Russell Holmes has served as the Massachusetts State Representative for the Sixth Suffolk District, which includes a portion of the communities of Dorchester, Mattapan, Hyde Park, Roslindale, and Jamaica Plain. He focuses primarily on issues of economy, infrastructure, education and safety.

Kate Fichter

Kate Fichter is the Assistant Secretary for Policy Coordination at MassDOT where she develops project-selection criteria, works to improve the capital planning process, and reviews project delivery problems. She also managed the Special Panel Review of the MBTA after the winter 2015 shutdown of the agency.

Jascha Franklin-Hodge

Jascha Franklin-Hodge is the City’s Chief Information Officer. In this role, he leads the City’s efforts to enhance online service delivery, empower City employees with effective digital tools, and improve access to technology and the Internet for all Boston neighborhoods.

Chris Osgood – Moderator

Chris Osgood is Boston’s Chief of the Streets who oversees the City’s Public Works and Transportation Departments as they plan, design, maintain, and manage Boston’s streets. He also works to forge new partnerships with public, private and academic partners to explore how technology, data and design can make Boston’s services even better and its streets more vibrant.
